big bear sculpture trail
I was commissioned to design and paint one of twenty, 6 foot bear sculptures for the Wild in Art ‘Big Bear Sculpture Trail’ held at Wild Place Project in Bristol.
My bear ‘Bugsy’ focusses on the UK’s threatened insects and his design was inspired by vintage entomological illustrations. He is painted with Acrylics and varnished, with details added with Posca markers.
